In PVP mode, on the other hand, we take part in siege machine clashes or compete with each other, trying to complete mission objectives as quickly as possible. In co-op mode, we build machines together with friends and destroy specific targets or try to complete a specific task with limited resources and building blocks. Apart from that, a level editor and a sandbox mode await the players, in which they can freely use all the construction elements available in the game.īesiege also offers several variants of multiplayer play. The single player campaign consists of 54 missions set on four islands, varying in landscape and types of enemies and buildings. Thanks to the variety of available elements, including blocks that allow you to create simple logic gates and automate the operation of the structure, creative designers can show off their imagination, creating flying machines, flamethrowers or tanks equipped with guns. We're given a huge number of parts to build our own unique machine out of, like building blocks, capable of breaking enemy resistance and withstanding a massive onslaught of troops and heavy guns. During the game we build siege machines, and then with their help we destroy fortresses, villages and other buildings, spreading havoc among enemy troops on small and minimalistic 3D boards. Mechanicsīesiege is a unique puzzle-simulation game with the action taking place in a fantastic version of the European Middle Ages. Besiege fans are also the authors of numerous mods that further diversify and enrich the game.
Based on their suggestions, the authors introduce improvements and new solutions to the gameplay model. During this time, the production built around itself a very engaged community of fans.
The game debuted in the early access program on Steam in 2015 and was in it for nearly five years, until the official release on February 18, 2020. Small independent British studio Spiderling is responsible for the creation of the title.
